  Seemed like a great idea by what I've seen online, but not so great after coming in person. I waited over half an hour (for a bike reserved and paid for online, that supposedly just needed to be picked up) while the guy chatted up some tourists who didn't know what they wanted, and then some more time to be road-ready, as the only non-broken bike of the type had flat tires and was missing the lock. Similarly, on returning it (at the time specified by the same guy as the opening time), I waited for 20 minutes in front of the locked shop before the first person appeared, and some more to for them to do their morning chores in the back of the shop before one of them decided to grace me with their attention and take back the bike/return my deposit. Yes, the staff speaks multiple foreign languages and the bikes are well equipped, but that didn't quite make up for the lack of the most basic customer service. The only negative experience of otherwise lovely stay in a lovely city.

  Visiting Valencia by bike was a fantastic experience and using Senatibikes was not only easy, it was also a good bargain. We called from our hotel to rent two bikes for 2 days and they were delivered at the hotel just on time as we asked. We got 7 speed bikes with locks, baskets, and lights for 12 Euros/day each, also including fully insurance against everything except theft, so we were very careful when it came to locking them up. Fast, correct and friendly !!

  Very adequate and quick service, with various telephone contacts to verify agreed time schedule. Good quality bikes and good assistance. Friendly service. Really a bike rental to be recommended!

  Fantastic experience. We called from our hotel to rent two bikes for the day. We reserved the 5 speed cruisers with locks, baskets, and lights for 12 Euros each. The bikes were dropped off 30 minutes after we called and they came right to our hotel lobby. They were fully insured against everything except theft, so we were very careful when it came to locking them up. The only downside was that we had to pay 50 Euros for a deposit and, since we paid by credit card, it took the bank one week to return our money. I suggest paying the deposit in cash.
