  Over the course of 2 years I rented 2 properties through Valencia Homes and both times really enjoyed my stay. Juan spent quite a bit of time making sure all my requests were met. Both properties were beautiful, and both check-in and check-out were a smooth process. Juan was friendly and very responsive throughout the rental time, answering all questions I had in a timely manner. The communication with the owner of both properties was equally effortless.

  Juan was very professional and had all the paperwork ready for us when we arrived. He showed us 3 nice properties and we chose one in the center of old town. It was perfect for us and the property owners became our best friends. We can certainly recommend Valencia Homes for your search.

  Overall I definitely recommend Valencia Homes to any foreigner who can't/doesn't want to or doesn't like to look for a property on his/her own, and yes ... you can find apartments for half the price, but if you go that route you'll have to figure out a lot of pieces yourself like opening a bank account, proving income, negotiating with property owners in Spanish etc. and by choosing agency you can avoid all of it. That was my reason for choosing Juan.

  I fail to understand the bad reviews of Valencia Homes and especially directed to Juan. I have rented 3 different properties with one being over a year in length and each and every time I was extremely satisfied. Juan went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and if any issues did arise they were immediately corrected to our and the home owners satisfaction. I give 5 stars to Valencia Homes because that is what I meant to them.

  As for other negative comments: if you don't like the prices quoted on their website, don't use their service and look elsewhere, nobody is forcing anyone. Such comments do not reflect the quality of service and are only misleading.

  The only thing I'd improve on is communication. Beginnings were rough and I had to go over specific things many times in order to be properly understood, but once we got over that frustrating obstacle everything went easy from there.

  Valencia Homes has proved a life-saver. A friend had to return to UK and her flat has been with Valencia Homes ever since. Thanks to their broad reach of clientele, and thr large number of people from abroad who find their webpage and availability, we have been able to have a tenant for several years with just a month or two gap here and there. A huge relief. I think what swings it is the personal touch and the follow up. Clients are people for them, not just the signature on a cheque. A pleasant change.
