  Eclectic but interesting set of exhibitions when we visited - Cuban poster art; Portraits of power (African tribal leaders, Valencian elected leaders, Spanish media photos); Joan Martí sculptures; graphic novels and comic strips of Valencia; typography and letter illustration. Free when we went on Sunday evening. All exhibitions had information in English. In the entrance is a permanent set of historic map reproductions and a model of the city. The site is spread across a couple of joined buildings and on several floors, with lift access. It's a bit of a maze and a map / guide for the site would have been handy, but it's not that big and fairly easy to find your way around.

  In building is a proper concrete lump with interior maze of oddly angled ramps! There's a photogenic city model in the entry and a number of galleries showing well researched visual art. Only €2 each.

  The Cuban poster exhibition I saw was visually fantastic because of the posters themselves but I was disappointed by the lack of any 'experience' as well as having no accompanying catalogue for the works. Valencia in Comics was so interesting but again I do feel it could have been so much more. I sometimes wonder whether people feel that the architecture and the space of the MuVIM is more important than subjects and the works itself.

  It's a interesting museum. With sculptures, art Photography etc. It' has culture and history. If u i to the arts it's a good place to visit. The architecture is interesting.

  A really interesting museum to visit in Valencia which is based in graphics, photos, sculptures, etc...
